K.I. SAMEN will be participating at the NRM show again on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 June. And we knew straight away that joining us again on our journey to Zwolle would be a group produced by the highly popular bull Big MALKI. This time, we will not be showing a group of heifers - like two years ago- but instead a group of cows on their second and third calves. This tactic is a great opportunity to show how Big Malki daughters develop over the years. And develop they certainly do! As things stand, a few cows who were shown two years ago in the daughter group are likely contenders for this year's event too.

The second bull whose progeny will be shown by K.I. SAMEN in a group is the equally popular VVH REPAIRMAN. This Maik son can boast a super production index (with great scores for milk, fat and protein). His qualities also translate into the build of his offspring - a characteristic that many cows need at the moment. As an example, he scores no less than 111 for chest width. This makes him unique in his breed! Just like Big Malki's daughters, VVH Repairman's daughters develop into very ample dairy cows as the lactations progress. The group representing VVH Repairman consists of cows on their second calves.
