MANHATTAN TRIUMPHS IN THE EAST
Our Red Holstein bull Gruthuus Manhattan passes on incredible production potential to his descendants and combines a significant increase in milk production with a big positive for (+0.20%) for protein. But protein is not his only talent! We are discovering more and more stunning daughters produced by Manhattan, as active herd members and in the show ring. His name is behind many recent successes in the ring.
For example, Manhattan daughter Irma 120 - owned by Mts. Vosman-ter Harmsel in Rijssen - claimed the title of udder and heifer champion at the Fokveedag Agrifair in Wierden. And at the Fokveedag Espelo/Holten the highest accolade was awarded to Roza 354 owned by Mts. Steegink-Boode in Holten. This Manhattan daughter was champion in the intermediate class. Another intermediate class champion, this time at the Fokveedag Oost Gelderland in Eibergen, was Annie 165 owned by Mts. Harbers-Ruesink in Borculo. The title turned out to be just the first of the achievements of this imposing Manhattan daughter. Two weeks later she entered another show and was awarded a great score of 90 points for her conformation. Our congratulations to the owners of these victorious cows!
