The heifer that attracted the highest bid of the 120 on offer at the RUW cattle auction in Hamm, Germany on 1 September was a Lineback Murphy heifer. It gives us great pleasure to congratulate Hartmut Landwehr from Steinhagen on breeding such a wonderful heifer. Murphy Lineback heifers can be found from New Zealand to the United States to universal praise from dairy farmers. Unfortunately, stocks of Murphy are sold out but luckily we have a wide selection of other Lineback bulls.
In the shape of its practical breeding programme, K.I. SAMEN continues to commit to cow families that represent production power, solid conformation and better functional traits. For years, we have reserved a space in our portfolio for a number of Lineback bulls, who - alongside their other qualities - offer distinctive colouration and markings.
The latest bulls are Durango, a black-and-white Holstein Lineback by Linedancer, the red-and-white Holstein bull Peppermint, and Henri, who has a Lineback MRIJ pedigree. So plenty of choice for farmers wishing to breed an attractive and valuable heifer!
